Christmas Cards - Americal Division 1970

This Crirstmas card was available for soldiers in the Americal Divison in 1970.  It could be sent home to
the USA by merely writing "free" on the envelope where a stamp normally was placed.

A Vietnamese card from 1970 is shown above.  The pastoral scene is printed on a silk-like fabric and was pasted on the inside of the card.

The front of the Christmas Card for the Americal Division for 1970 is shown at left.  The stars of the Southern Cross are visible.  The Americal insignia -- serving under the Southern Cross.
