Reunions
2015 Gunfighter Texas Mini-Reunion:
An April 17-19 reunion of the Gunfighters is planned this year at Alan Allen's homestead just west of Austin. Most of the guys attending this mini-reunion are from the 67/68 era, but all Gunfighters are welcome at Allan's place. Plan to arrive in the area on Friday, enjoy a full day with old friends on Saturday and depart Sunday.
Please contact Alan if you plan to attend or have any comments or recommendations. Alan is planning a Tex/Mex lunch on Saturday with iced tea and BYOB.

2015 Gunfighter National Reunion:
The October 28 - November 1 reunion of the Gunfighters will be held
in conjunction with the 2015 Americal Division National Reunion in
Norfolk, Virginia. The Gunfighter breakout room will be the
Presidential Suite at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott. The reunion
check-in starts on Wednesday the 28th. On Thursday we have a trip to
the U.S. Army Transportation Museum at Ft. Eustis and world renowned
Colonial Williamsburg. The Friday trip (cruise) departs one block
from the reunion hotel and includes a delicious lunch with a view
from the Spirit of Norfolk, the premiere cruise boat on Norfolk’s
waterfront. On Saturday we have meetings as usual in the morning and
will offer spouses and guests a tour of the nationally recognized
Norfolk Botanical Garden. This time of year the Meadow and Natural
Areas will be beautiful with stunning seasonal colors, fall foliage
and migratory birds. Saturday afternoon the ADVA will have a
memorial service just up the street at the MacArthur Memorial.
Saturday evening friends and family can enjoy the evening together
thanks to seating assignments made before the Reunion Banquet by
The Armed Forces Reunions Inc. (AFR) support team. The banquet will
feature an exceptional menu and unique entertainment before, during,
and following the banquet that should not be missed. As always, out
on Sunday morning.
Note: If you are just going to drive down for a day come on Saturday. Most vets will be out on trips Thursday & Friday and will depart for home by noon on Sunday.
